We are a well-established engineering company based in Newton Aycliffe and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Side Loader Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join the team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient movement of steel products within the production area.
Responsibilities
- Operating a side loader FLT to move steel safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading steel sections from vehicles
- Supplying materials to production and dispatch areas
- Carrying out daily FLT checks and basic maintenance
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures on site
Requirements
- Valid side loader FLT licence (essential)
- Previous experience handling steel
- Strong awareness of health & safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work in an outdoor yard environment

07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday
07:00 - 13:00 Friday
