I’m working with a growing recruitment business looking to hire an MSP Account Manager / Recruitment Partner to manage the delivery of recruitment services for a key strategic client in the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruiter who enjoys building relationships, being embedded with a client, and delivering a high-quality recruitment service rather than chasing cold business. You’ll operate as a true extension of the client’s HR and hiring teams, spending time onsite in Newcastle and coordinating recruitment delivery through internal teams.
The Role
- You’ll take ownership of the recruitment delivery for a key MSP client, ensuring roles are filled efficiently while building strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the client, hiring managers and internal recruitment teams
- Spending 2–3 days per week onsite in Newcastle, embedding within the client’s business
- Coordinating recruitment delivery across multiple roles including:
- Technical IT & Software Development positions
- Corporate roles such as HR, Finance, HSE and Business Support
- Managing the candidate journey and onboarding process to ensure a smooth experience
- Presenting MI and recruitment reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams
- Supporting hiring strategy and improving recruitment processes
- Delivering interview guidance and hiring support to hiring managers
- Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring a high level of service delivery
Ideal Candidate
- This role would suit someone who enjoys client interaction and delivery-focused recruitment.
- Experience within Recruitment, RPO or MSP environments
- Strong experience recruiting within IT / Technology roles (software development exposure highly desirable)
- Exposure to hiring across corporate functions such as HR, Finance or HSE
- Confidence working onsite with clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills, particularly around MI and recruitment reporting
- Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is outgoing, down to earth and a straight talker. Someone who can build trust quickly and become a valued partner to the client.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to become deeply embedded within a major client account, playing a key role in their hiring strategy. There is also the potential for the position to transition into a full-time role directly with the end client in the future for the right person. If you're a recruiter who enjoys relationship-driven recruitment and working closely with clients rather than purely chasing sales, this could be a brilliant next move.
