An ambitious, private equity backed recruitment business is looking to appoint an Associate Director to help drive the growth of its Newcastle tech recruitment division. The business specialises in Network Security, Infrastructure and wider technology markets, with a clear strategic plan over the next 5–7 years to become a dominant player in its space. This is an opportunity for an experienced recruiter to step into a leadership role and play a key part in shaping that journey.

The start of 2026 has already delivered strong results for the business, including:

  • Top tier EBITDA performance within a leading recruitment investment portfolio
  • Contractors deployed across major UK banks, a trillion-dollar global tech organisation and a leading pharmaceutical R&D business
  • Placements delivered across 9 international markets
  • Strategic RPO partnerships supporting global GTM hiring

What they are looking for:

  • Experienced tech recruiter (Senior Consultant level or above)
  • Ideally experience across Cyber Security, Network or Infrastructure markets
  • Proven and consistent billings, with the ability to demonstrate how you've grown your desk
  • Some leadership exposure – whether mentoring junior consultants or managing a team / P&L
  • International recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience in a scaling or early-stage environment would be beneficial

What's on offer:

  • Commission up to 30% plus quarterly bonuses on personal billings
  • Team override and the opportunity to build and lead your own division
  • Scope to own and develop a P&L
  • Involvement in board-level discussions with investment partners
  • Opportunity to help shape the long-term vision and growth strategy of the business
  • Access to market-leading recruitment technology and tools
  • Annual awards and incentive trips, including international destinations
