Our client is expanding and looking for a plater to join the team. You will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts using various tools and techniques.

Job Specification

  • Carry out plating operations following work instructions
  • Read drawings to ensure that steel is cut to specification
  • Accurately assemble and ensure that plating is carried out to spec
  • Cut and prepare plates/sections
  • Assemble fabrication work to pass to welders for final assembly
  • Work with inspections and quality teams

Person Specification

  • Time served fabricating/plating
  • Heavy engineering experience is essential
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
  • Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
