We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Setter-Operator to join our machining team. This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to work independently, producing high-quality precision components to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, operate, and edit programs
- Set tools, offsets, and fixtures independently
- Produce parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Inspect components using appropriate measuring equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings (first and third angle projection)
- Identify and resolve machining issues independently
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience working on Haas CNC machining centers
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc-controlled machines
- Ability to fully set machines and tools from scratch
- Experience editing CNC programs
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings
- Confident working independently with minimal supervision
You will be required to work days and lates on an alternating basis.
