My client is looking for a Property Inspections Consultant to join their team. You will be liaising with tenants and undertaking visits to the properties managed by my client on behalf of our landlords. This role suits someone who is confident with the ability to negotiate. This is a pivotal role so requires someone who has previous experience working in the industry. This is a Monday to Friday role, so welcomes people who have learnt the trade but no longer want to work weekends.

Duties:

  • Compile detailed reports which record the overall condition of a property.
  • Re-visiting the properties midway through an active tenancy to check on the condition.
  • Discussing with the tenants in occupation any maintenance-based issues that may be evident.
  • Advise on improvement plans for properties which are not being looked after.
  • Inspecting the property prior to the end of a tenancy to produce a ‘check out’ report which will again record the general condition of the property at that time just prior to the tenants moving out.
  • At the end of a tenancy mediate between landlord and tenants.
