My client is looking for a Fabric engineer to join their team, they are a fast growing, great company to work for. You will be performing planned and reactive maintenance on a building's physical structure, such as carpentry, tiling, painting, and plastering in commercial and industrial settings.
Key duties involve:
- Carrying out emergency call-outs.
- Completing inspections and testing.
- Making repairs to restore systems to a safe working order.
Duties:
- Carry out a wide range of tasks, including carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, glazing, and lock fitting.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, structural issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Reactive and planned maintenance: Respond to urgent repair requests and execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure work adheres to company policies and health and safety regulations, including fire door maintenance and legionella control.
- Maintain records of completed works, communicate with customers and management, and use company systems to track progress.
