Job title: CNC Miller
Salary: 40-50k
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) - 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday
My client is looking for a CNC Miller to work the late Shift (4 on 4 off), this role involves setting and operating CNC Milling machines to produce high-precision components. You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
Duties:
- Set, operate, and manage CNC Milling machines
- Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain safe working practices
- Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
- Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
- Where practical, pre-set ready for next job
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
