My client is looking for an Electrician to join their team; they are a fast-growing, great company to work for. You will be installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key duties involve:

  • Installing electrical systems, wiring, and equipment such as lighting, power points, circuit breakers, and control panels. This includes both new builds and upgrades.
  • Repairing and modifying electrical systems and wiring in commercial or industrial settings.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine tasks, such as testing emergency lighting, replacing parts, and performing upgrades.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical problems and safety issues by inspecting and testing circuits, fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs and other urgent repair requests, which may require working outside of normal hours.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Ensuring all work adheres to company procedures, site rules, and relevant health and safety regulations.

Certifications required:

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition.
  • City & Guilds 2391 qualification.
