My client is looking for a Maintenance Electrician (PPM) to join their team, they are a fast growing, great company to work for. You will be maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
Key duties involve:
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), handling emergency call-outs, conducting inspections and testing, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Repairing and modifying electrical systems and wiring in commercial or industrial settings.
- Performing routine tasks, such as testing emergency lighting, replacing parts, and performing upgrades.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical problems and safety issues by inspecting and testing circuits, fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Responding to emergency call-outs and other urgent repair requests, which may require working outside of normal hours.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensuring all work adheres to company procedures, site rules, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Certifications required: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent. City & Guilds 18th Edition and/or 17th Edition.
