My client is looking for an Electrician to join their team, they are a fast growing, great company to work for. You will be installing, inspecting, testing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Key duties involve carrying out emergency call-outs, completing inspections and testing, and making repairs to restore systems to a safe working order.
- Install electrical systems, wiring, and equipment such as lighting, power points, circuit breakers, and control panels. This includes both new builds and upgrades.
- Repair and modify electrical systems and wiring in commercial or industrial settings.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and routine tasks, such as testing emergency lighting, replacing parts, and performing upgrades.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical problems and safety issues by inspecting and testing circuits, fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and other urgent repair requests, which may require working outside of normal hours.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure all work adheres to company procedures, site rules, and relevant health and safety regulations.
Certifications: NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent, City & Guilds 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 qualification.
