Salary: Dependant on experience

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) - 6PM – 4AM, Monday to Thursday

My client is looking for a CNC Turner to work the late shift (4 on 4 off). This role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.

Duties:

  • Set, operate, and manage CNC turning machines
  • Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
  • Perform in-process quality checks
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • Maintain safe working practices
  • Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
  • Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
  • Where practical, pre-set ready for next job

Experience:

  • Setting and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines
  • Working in a manufacturing environment
