Shift: Late Shift (4 on 4 off) - 6PM β 4AM, Monday to Thursday
My client is looking for a CNC Grinder to work the late shift (4 on 4 off). The work involves small to medium batch production with medium to high complexity. Your main responsibility will be setting and operating CNC grinding machines to ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
Duties:
- Set, operate, and manage CNC grinding equipment
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain safe working practices
- Ensure correct information logged onto tooling sheets
- Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
- Where practical, pre-set ready for next job
Experience:
- Setting and operating CNC Grinders and manual machines
- Working in a manufacturing environment
