Location: West London
My client is looking for a Building Services Engineer to join their team. They are a well-run SME, who work on high-end properties and/or commercial plants. They are looking for nice people who want to join the team.
You will manage scheduled maintenance tasks (e.g. fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, temperature readings), reactive repairs, first-line fault response, meter readings, luminaire replacements, and plumbing fixes.
Duties include:
- Managing HVAC assets including BMS, FCUs, AHUs, VRF, and VRV systems
- Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across building services
- Diagnosing and resolving system faults while maintaining clear client communications
- Handling small power, lighting, and minor mechanical/plumbing tasks
- Participating in the on-call rota for emergency and reactive works
- Completing documentation, RAMS, and working within permit-to-work systems
- Providing high-quality customer service and proactive building walk-throughs
- Supporting additional building duties (e.g. porterage, minor fabric repairs)
Attributes/Qualifications:
- Familiarity with health and safety procedures and permit systems
- Manual handling capability
