My client is looking for a Transport and Logistics Administrator to join their team; you will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support to the transport and logistics function. This role would suit someone who is keen to build a career and can commit to a fast paced, rotational shift patten to support the business. This role offers great development and progression for the right person.
Duties :
Maintain driver compliance and maintenance records
Liaising with depots, drivers, agencies and internal teams to ensure the efficient movement and utilisation of vehicles across regional depots
Booking agency drivers, arranging travel, accommodation, coordinating vehicle movements
Maintaining accurate records across systems such as Optrax and BigChange.
You monitor and report transport-related costs, including leasing, agency, travel and fuel expenditure and reducing unnecessary costs where feasible
You will support invoice reconciliation and provide regular updates to the Team
They will be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines, maintain accurate records, track costs and produce clear reports.
Attributes:
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams
Experience with transport or fleet
