My client is looking for a CNC Turner to work the late shift. This role involves setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-precision components. You will ensure machining processes are optimised for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability.
Duties:
- Set, operate, and manage CNC turning machines
- Prepare tooling, fixtures, and materials for production
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain safe working practices
- Ensure correct information logged on to tooling sheets
- Ensure component submitted for first off inspection meets drawing requirements
