The Role of Quality Technician: We are looking for a hands-on Quality Technician to join our growing quality team. Based on the shopfloor, you will be the first point of contact for production quality issues and play a key part in ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the first response for any part quality issues raised on the shopfloor
- Raise and log care points where needed
- Carry out internal calibration for tools such as torque guns
- Perform goods inwards inspections and complete associated paperwork
- Collect and process scrap parts daily
- Support injection moulding with detailed measurements
- Help with training operators in quality awareness
- Assist sub-supplier inspection activities when required
- Support the inspection area during busy periods or low staffing
- Experience in a quality role within automotive manufacturing
- Confident communicator across all levels of the business
- Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using measuring equipment
- Knowledge of quality tools, SPC, and techniques
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Driving licence and own transport (desirable)
