Role Overview

As a Software Engineer in Test Automation, you will ensure the quality control of features developed within an Agile team:

  • Analyse requirements, develop and execute test suites and test plans
  • Document test execution results and guarantee defect follow‑up
  • Analyse product requirements and specifications, create adequate test plans based on risk assessment and time constraints
  • Design, estimate and implement test cases according to the test strategy and plan in collaboration with other team members
  • Contribute to continuous integration and delivery of features, focusing on continuous improvement
  • Proactively improve test coverage, test solutions at scale and find defects early in the development cycle
  • Write and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation in the appropriate data systems
  • Ensure ongoing communication with and feedback to the development team during the testing phase

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5‑8 years of experience in quality assurance or application testing
  • Required Technical Skills
  • Familiar with REST API testing (Postman)
  • Familiar with defect tracking software (Jira)
  • Experience in developing automated tests (Cypress, Playwright or Jest)
  • Experience with Java Script, Type Script, HTML5 and CSS
  • Additional Desired Skills (Assets)
  • ISTQB Certification
  • Familiar with Jira Xray and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Containers/Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in Continuous Integration (preferably Team City)
  • Experience or knowledge of the Broadcast Industry
