Role Overview
As a Software Engineer in Test Automation, you will ensure the quality control of features developed within an Agile team:
- Analyse requirements, develop and execute test suites and test plans
- Document test execution results and guarantee defect follow‑up
- Analyse product requirements and specifications, create adequate test plans based on risk assessment and time constraints
- Design, estimate and implement test cases according to the test strategy and plan in collaboration with other team members
- Contribute to continuous integration and delivery of features, focusing on continuous improvement
- Proactively improve test coverage, test solutions at scale and find defects early in the development cycle
- Write and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation in the appropriate data systems
- Ensure ongoing communication with and feedback to the development team during the testing phase
Education and Experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent
- 5‑8 years of experience in quality assurance or application testing
- Required Technical Skills
- Familiar with REST API testing (Postman)
- Familiar with defect tracking software (Jira)
- Experience in developing automated tests (Cypress, Playwright or Jest)
- Experience with Java Script, Type Script, HTML5 and CSS
- Additional Desired Skills (Assets)
- ISTQB Certification
- Familiar with Jira Xray and Confluence
- Knowledge of Containers/Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in Continuous Integration (preferably Team City)
- Experience or knowledge of the Broadcast Industry
