Overview
As Solutions Architect (Sales Engineer), you will manage presales and consultancy tasks in coordination with the Sales teams, draft system design and BOMs/quotations, and give technical support to complete Sales proposals.
The Consultancy Team proposes technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.
They should provide market feedback to the Market & Solutions Team with on-the-ground experience as a customer-facing expert.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage Pre-sales tasks in coordination with the Sales teams
- Presence at external and internal customer-facing events
- Take part in regular public engagements such as events, tradeshows, panels, etc
- Organize and carry out product demonstrations remotely or on the customer\'s premises, as well as POCs
- Work with customers to define the architecture of the system
- Elaborate and enhance solutions for the customers’ requirements
- Draft system design and BOMs/quotations and give technical support to complete Sales proposals
- Create/write responses to RFx requests within the defined processes including technical documentation and drawing
- Anticipate and plan the project phases in conjunction with PMO
- Manage hand-over to the PMO and Support teams once systems are sold
- Fill informational gaps on competition and EVS user cases
- Provide detailed feedback to the Markets & Solutions team about market trends
- Build, maintain and run demo systems and setups
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of working experience in the Broadcast industry
- An experience in Live Production as an Ei C is an important asset.
- Technical skills
- Strong background in Live Broadcast Production and Media infrastructure, including AV Real Time Network, Broadcast Controller, and Live AV Signal Processing
- Live Server and Media Asset Management knowledge base experience is an important asset
- Proven leader with good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss business requirements and present solutions designs to both customers and internal team resources
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills & solution selling experience
- Autonomous with a high degree of flexibility
- Proven ability to work with the customer to capture and document business requirements, supporting the sales process
- Ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and be creative
- Ability to share knowledge and experience within the Sol Ar Team
- Highly motivated and trusted
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA market
