We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for HGV Class 2 Day Drivers (or Cat C Drivers as we sometimes call them) to join our growing Gatwick depot. Shifts usually start at 15.00pm What We Can Offer You: £15.03 per hour with an overtime rate of £22.55 once fulltime hours are completed. In addition to our competitive salary, our full time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days’ annual leave (including Bank Holidays), 3% contribution into your pension & life assurance. What You’ll Do: Our HGV Class 2 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting our palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that’s where our couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 – 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated. Our full-time HGV Class 2 driver roles are 40 hours a week, but flexible contracts and part time hours are available. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance. Essential Skills & Experience Required: · You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver’s CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment. · Excellent communication skills · A safety-first mindset · Reasonable physical fitness JBRP1_UKTJ
