An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Service Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to join a growing engineering service operation. This role is ideal for someone with experience planning engineers, coordinating maintenance activities or scheduling field service work who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment. You'll become a key part of the Service & Aftersales team, taking ownership of engineer scheduling, workload planning and resource coordination while helping to deliver an excellent service to customers. This is a role where organisation, communication and forward planning are just as important as attention to detail. The Role As a Service Planning & Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities across planned maintenance, commissioning and reactive service work. Your responsibilities will include: * Planning and scheduling engineering resource to meet customer and operational requirements. * Managing engineer diaries and maintaining forward workload visibility. * Coordinating planned maintenance visits, reactive call-outs and commissioning activities. * Monitoring engineer availability, travel requirements and resource utilisation. * Identifying scheduling conflicts and supporting effective resolution. * Managing incoming service enquiries and allocating work appropriately. * Coordinating service quotation requests and monitoring progress. * Maintaining accurate planning information within service management systems. * Supporting service administration, reporting and documentation. * Working closely with operational teams to ensure service activities are delivered efficiently. * Contributing to the development of planning processes and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a varied operational role where you'll have genuine responsibility for helping to keep engineering activities running smoothly. About You We're looking for someone who enjoys planning, solving problems and working collaboratively with engineers and customers. You'll ideally have: * Previous experience within service planning, maintenance planning, engineering scheduling or operational coordination. * Experience planning mobile engineers or field-based service teams. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Experience using ERP, service management or scheduling software. * High levels of accuracy and attention to detail. * Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. * Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy operational environment. Experience gained within engineering, manufacturing, facilities management, HVAC, building services, utilities or other technical service organisations would be highly advantageous.
