My client is a well established manufacturing business located in Norfolk. A global leader within their sector, they are looking for a design development engineer to join their existing team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual, a varied engineering role focusing on the development of new and existing products.
The role will involve:
- Prototype design and build
- 3D CAD
- Looking at existing products and processes to reduce cost
- Material analysis and cost reductions
- Looking at test results and reducing warranty failures
- Liaising with all departments to communicate findings and improvements
- Engineering projects to drive change and improve processes
- Identifying commercial opportunities for new products
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Time served experience of product design to manufacture
- Engineering Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Project management experience
