Role Overview
As the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business efficiency and driving growth.
This is a unique opportunity to impact the company's strategic direction by improving processes and fostering collaboration across multiple departments.
Your work will directly contribute to entering new markets and launching new products, ensuring rapid value delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve business efficiency and help departments achieve greater results with existing resources.
- Analyze processes, structure, and distribution of responsibilities to identify systemic constraints to growth.
- Build effective collaboration between Product, Technology, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Compliance departments.
- Translate the CEO's strategic goals into concrete programs, tasks, metrics, and areas of accountability.
- Take ownership of, or act as the lead facilitator for, major cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure execution of projects related to entering new markets, licensing, product launches, and changes to the operating model.
- Develop a KPI system and performance management framework for departments.
- Increase the speed of decision-making and value delivery to customers.
- Manage functional leaders, strengthen teams, and promptly resolve organizational blockers.
- Participate in strategic planning and defining the company's future structure.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Fintech, Payments, or other regulated financial services.
- Experience in Crypto is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in a fast-growing or transforming business.
- Experience managing multiple functions and teams around 30+ people.
- Experience at a company with 500 to 1,000 employees is preferred, bringing mature scaling practices.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and performance.
- Experience delivering major initiatives spanning multiple departments.
- Understanding of P&L, unit economics, cost management, and how operations impact business results.
- Experience building processes in a multi-market, multi-license, or multi-entity environment is a significant advantage.
