Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will build and grow the company’s presence in the UK market by owning the entire sales cycle and shaping how the brand is positioned with top-tier merchants. You will be responsible for developing a strong commercial footprint — from identifying and engaging high-value prospects to running complex C-level negotiations and closing strategic deals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the company’s commercial presence in the UK market, aligning brand positioning with market trends and strategic growth objectives.
  • Build, develop, and manage a high-value sales pipeline, providing accurate revenue forecasting and regular reporting to senior management.
  • Design and execute go-to-market and sales strategies targeting e-commerce, digital goods, and online retail merchants.
  • Identify, engage, and convert high-value prospects, positioning advanced payment and acquiring solutions as a strategic growth enabler.
  • Deliver consultative, C-level sales presentations for complex, technical payment products.
  • Own and manage pipeline performance through CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy, predictable forecasting, and consistent results across Tier-1 and Tier-2 prospects.

Requirements

  • 3–4+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development within an international payments, fintech, or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, acquiring, merchant onboarding, and the commercial structure of the payments ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical, compliance, legal, finance, and commercial teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing high-value deals and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to build and leverage strong internal and external relationships while staying connected to industry trends.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, partnerships, and industry events.
