We are currently recruiting for a Pilot Plant Technician to join our team based at our Abingdon site in Oxfordshire, UK. This is an exciting opportunity within our Pilot Plant, the successful applicant will work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

Role overview
Working within the Pilot Plant we are looking to a Technician to help support the Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily checks/calibrations, housekeeping, equipment maintenance and maintaining a stock of consumables.
Responsibilities will include
- Daily tasks around the plant, including equipment calibrations, housekeeping, maintaining stocks of consumable items, blowing down boilers.
- Preventative maintenance of equipment such as vacuum pumps, thermal control units, gas detectors.
- Checking/sampling/adjusting systems such as purified water generator, wet scrubbers, dosing tanks, carbon adsorption units.
- Weighing out raw materials.
- Complete and review logbooks and relevant documentation promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that plant safety is maintained and safety procedures are adhered to.
- Ensure operational procedures are followed.
- Identify and suggest areas where improvements can be made. Participate fully and diligently in project schemes to support continuous improvement.

- Good time management and prioritisation capabilities.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently on your own and as part of a team.
- IT literate with good Microsoft Office skills.
