We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor.
Working within the Maintenance & Facilities Teams, managing an internal maintenance Team to complete engineering tasks and activities in line with statutory, c GMP and EHS guidelines.

Location

- Primary Responsibilities
- Manage internal maintenance team; oversee Performance Management; including training needs/development and manage holiday requests.
- Assign maintenance tasks to appropriate personnel, ensure engineers are suitably trained and skilled for their trade and request training as required via line management.
- Work closely with Planner/Scheduler to monitor workload and plan work in accordance with site procedures and Gx P, utilise CMMS metrics to track performance, identify issues and take appropriate steps to remedy.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of maintenance work tasks, especially GMP, EHS and Statutory related items, report/escalate any issues to Engineering Management.
- Review planned and reactive work routinely (weekly) with Production and Engineers to account for equipment and resource availability
- Maintain tools and equipment such that they remain fit for purpose.
- Review and sign-off all work orders completed by the Team; ensure FOWO’s are raised as required and escalate any quality or safety related items.
- Encourage Team members to raise maintenance issues and review and improve work tasks/procedures.
- Raise requisitions through ERP system/s, and act as point of contact for associated purchasing/finance related queries.
- Proactively raise Deviations, Change Controls and CAPA’s as required pertaining to area of responsibility.
- Support Audits pertaining to work undertaken by Team.
- Secondary responsibilities
- Arrange contractor visits, host contractors, perform inductions, issue Permits to work and monitoring contractor activities.
- Oversee housekeeping of Engineering areas (Plant rooms and workshop).
