We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in Abingdon, UK on a 12 month fixed term contract. The HR Advisor is responsible for providing support and guidance to management and employees on a variety of HR-related matters.
Role: HR Advisor
Role Type: 12 month fixed term contract
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,500 - £32,500
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon, UK. This role will be Hybrid with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating new employee orientation and onboarding, including conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating new hire paperwork.
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements.
- Managing employee benefits programs, including enrolment, changes, and questions.
- Managing HR-related projects, including conducting research and analysing data.
- Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations.
- Deliver all end to end employee life cycle processes, including new starters, changes and leavers, whilst ensuring accuracy, compliance and a positive employee experience throughout.
Skills & Experience:
- Must have significant experience within human resources.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage own workload.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- CIPD qualification in People Management.
