  • Lead the experimental validation and iterative optimisation of microfluidic performance (e.g. droplet generation, flow control, sorting of droplets)
  • Maintain the microfluidic platform and bring innovative approaches for platform development
  • Design and develop microfluidic devices and technologies to screen for plastic depolymerising enzymes
  • Lead efforts in microfluidic device fabrication and testing
  • Analyse and interpret experimental data
  • Proactively engage and collaborate with researchers across disciplines, including Biochemists, Chemists, Bioinformaticians, and other scientific specialists.
  • Maintaining records of experimental work

Skills, qualifications and experience needed:

  • A Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with focus on microfluidics
  • Experience in developing and integrating optical/optofluidic systems for detection, measurement or sorting
  • Competence in programming for instrument control (e.g. LabVIEW)
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD) for microfluidic design
  • Experience with microfabrication techniques such as photolithography and PDMS molding

Why Evoralis?:
