ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Director for Climate Risk to lead and develop our growing global specialist climate resilience consultancy team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and further develop EVORA’s climate risk and resilience services, ensuring service excellence and growth.
- Manage and grow the specialist Climate Resilience team through structured training and recruitment.
- Expand our network of delivery partners to strengthen our outreach within the UK, EU, and USA.
- Build and execute climate risk consulting services profitably against set budgets.
- Provide thought leadership internally (shaping our expanding software and managed services offering) and externally (industry engagement).
- Lead the development of comprehensive strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate climate-related risks for clients.
- Guide clients through effective stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training, workshops, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders on climate risk and resilience.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and qualifications
- At least 8+ years (Associate Director) / 10+ years (Director) of experience in real asset investment management, risk management, sustainability, or related fields.
- MBA, MSc in Environmental Science, or a relevant certification such as the Certificate in ESG Investing.
- Extensive experience in delivering climate risk consulting services and advising clients at senior levels.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster partnerships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and industry peers.
- Proven track record of managing and leading teams (5+ consultants/ESG specialists for Director level).
- Ability to lead and grow climate resilience services profitably against set budgets.
- Advanced IT skills and experience with climate risk data and modelling tools.
