Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements a customer account relationship management plan to identify and build relationships with relevant decision-makers and influencers within the customer organisation, enabling an effective flow of information and problem-solving.
  • Communicates the local action plan; explains how it relates to the strategy and action plan of the function and the mission and vision of the organisation as a whole. Motivates people to achieve local business objectives.
  • Develops a personal sales network and represents the organisation at trade fairs and other events to identify sales opportunities, promote the organisation, and enhance its reputation.
  • Uses personal expertise to identify complex standard products and/or services offered by the organisation that meet customer needs, along with quantities and product configurations. Presents these to the customer with a clear rationale and under standard commercial terms.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and acts as a customer champion in cross-functional teams to build strong external customer relationships.
  • Enters customer data collected through research and/or direct contact into the CRM system, ensuring the organisation has quality data for effective customer retention and business development activities.
  • Ensures team members keep CRM data up-to-date to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor).
  • Experienced practitioner able to work independently.
  • Experience in general supervision of more junior colleagues.
  • Applies extensive knowledge to act independently while providing guidance and training on the use of clear and effective verbal communication skills to express ideas, request actions, and formulate plans or policies.
  • Works independently and provides technical guidance when necessary for developing appropriate plans or executing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
  • Works independently and provides technical guidance when necessary in planning, organising, prioritising, and directing activities to efficiently meet business objectives.
  • Good understanding of the business climate and objectives to develop solutions independently while also providing technical assistance when needed.
  • Works independently and provides technical guidance when necessary for assessing and creating relevant, lucid, and effective reports.
  • Works independently and provides technical guidance when necessary for developing, monitoring, interpreting, and understanding policies and procedures, ensuring they align with organisational strategies and objectives.
