Mechanical Design Engineer (Oxford)

Would you like to work for a startup business who is work on next generation space systems that will make a real impact on earth?

I am looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a business based in the Oxford area, this will start as 3 month contract with the aim to be extended.

• You will be a key player in the design and development of modular spacecraft. Key design responsibilities will include;Modular design
• Interface design
• Deployment mechanisms
• CAD modelling
• Design for manufacture and assembly
• Technical drawing
• Prototype and testing

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical design background from either the space, aerospace or energy industry. Proficiency in CAD software and experience in design for manufacture. Material selection and analysis knowledge is desirable.
