The Role: SAR Signal Processing Engineer
Remote or Hybrid options available
We’re working with a space technology team looking to add a SAR Signal Processing Engineer to support the development of advanced satellite radar capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working deep in the signal processing stack, from algorithm development through to real data analysis and product generation.
What you’ll be working on:
- Developing algorithms in the field of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
- Prototyping, implementing, and testing SAR processing chains
- Processing and analysing satellite data, and generating value-added products
- Writing technical documentation, project reports, and scientific publications
What we’re looking for:
- Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in satellite SAR signal processing
- Strong skills in Python and/or MATLAB or Octave
- Confident communicator with fluent written and spoken English
Nice to have:
- Experience with satellite ground systems
- Knowledge of a compiled language such as C or C++
