Our client is a fast-growing cybersecurity company and is looking to appoint a New Business Development Manager into their successful team.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and secure new business opportunities. You will engage with potential clients who are not currently utilising their services, consult with them to understand their needs, and offer tailored solutions that are both beneficial for the client and profitable for the company. You will be a sales 'hunter' to bring in new logos. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

The Role:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand their client base in multiple verticals. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs. Develop and implement strategic business plans to secure significant revenue opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Initiate contact with potential clients through various channels (e.g., calls, emails, networking events). Schedule and attend face-to-face meetings and calls with potential clients. Present services and solutions in a compelling manner showing you understand the cyber security industry.
  • Sales Process Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities from initial contact to closing the deal. Create and deliver complex proposals and tender responses tailored to client requirements. Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profit margins.

The successful candidate will have several years experience in a Business Development role gained in a Cyber Security Industry.
