About the Role
At EvolveTalent, we are partnering with an international engineering organisation to identify an experienced Engineering Manager. This role sits at the intersection of technology, leadership, and product strategy, with responsibility for driving innovation and excellence across an engineering portfolio. You will lead a distributed engineering function, shaping future-ready products while ensuring alignment with market needs, regulatory frameworks, and commercial priorities.
Your Impact
- Lead and develop a R&D engineering team, including product architects and technical specialists
- Define and implement technology roadmaps aligned with product and business strategy
- Collaborate closely with product management, commercial, and business development teams to ensure market relevance
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement, including cost optimisation initiatives and product enhancements
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and cybersecurity requirements
- Support resource planning and prioritisation across multiple engineering projects

Your Profile
We are looking for a leader who combines technical depth with strategic thinking and people leadership:
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Around 7–10 years of experience in engineering, R&D, or product development.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams (direct or matrix)
- Strong understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management
- Ability to work across cross-functional and international teams
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage complexity
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
