Our client is looking for a GPhC registered Pharmacist to join their team in Plymouth (PL6) on a permanent part-time basis, working 2 or 3 consecutive days per week. This is a very busy store, dispensing approximately 23,000 items per month while offering a range of services such as DMS, flu vaccinations, and more. So, if you’re seeking an energetic, fast-paced role within a thriving and well-staffed branch, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Up to £30 per hour DOE, plus GPhC fees reimbursed, pension scheme, as well as free parking available.
Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist:
- Dispensing prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.
- Preparing medications by reviewing and interpreting orders, detecting therapeutic incompatibles, and prescribing errors.
- Dispensing medications by compounding, packaging, labelling medicines.
- Controlling medications by monitoring drug therapies, advising interventions.
- Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Technicians workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
- Providing pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of healthcare professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.
