We are recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a leading facilities management provider, overseeing cleaning operations across a portfolio of approximately 40 banking and government sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor or experienced Cleaning Team Leader to take responsibility for a team of around 30–40 cleaning operatives, ensuring high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising, supporting and motivating cleaning operatives across multiple sites.
- Conducting site visits, cleaning inspections and quality audits.
- Ensuring contractual SLAs, KPIs and cleaning standards are achieved.
- Managing staffing levels, attendance, absence and arranging cover.
- Providing hands‑on cleaning support, including deep cleans and emergency cleaning when required.
- Monitoring stock, consumables and equipment.
- Building strong relationships with clients and internal management teams.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures and security requirements are followed.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience within cleaning, soft services or facilities management.
- Experience managing or supporting frontline cleaning teams.
- Strong communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with the ability to manage multiple sites.
- Full UK driving licence.
Previous experience within banking, government or other security-sensitive environments would be advantageous.
Working Hours & Benefits
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Flexible working pattern between 07:00 and 22:00, with autonomy over your schedule.
- Some early starts and late finishes may be required.
- Additional hours managed through time off in lieu (no paid overtime).
