We are seeking a skilled Chiller Engineer to provide planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse portfolio of retail, commercial, healthcare and critical data centre environments throughout Essex and East London. As a Chiller Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of chiller plant and associated HVAC equipment. Working as a mobile engineer, you will deliver first-class technical support while ensuring client sites remain fully operational and compliant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on chillers and associated HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake reactive repairs to minimise downtime across customer sites.
  • Service and maintain equipment within retail, commercial offices, hospitals and data centres.
  • Complete detailed service reports and job documentation using a company-issued PDA.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation and client compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Chiller Engineer or on commercial chiller plant.
  • FGAS Category 1 certification (essential).
  • NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning preferred, although strong industry experience will also be considered.
  • IPAF and PASMA certifications are advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Salary & Benefits
  • £48,000 - £55,000 basic salary.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with two hours of travel time built into your working day.
  • Company van with fuel card.
  • Mobile phone and PDA provided.
  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Door-to-door call-out payments on a 1-in-8/9 rota with a minimum four-hour payment if called out.
