We are recruiting experienced Mobile Plumbers to join our team, delivering planned and reactive plumbing maintenance across multiple sites. This role is ideal for a qualified plumber looking for stable hours, structured overtime, and long-term job security.
The Role
As a mobile plumber, you will carry out both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across government and commercial buildings. The plumber will work independently across a portfolio of sites, responding to day-to-day maintenance requirements and scheduled tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment.
- Diagnose and repair leaks, cracked pipework, and blocked drainage.
- Install, modify, and repair plumbing systems including valves, traps, unions, and backflow prevention devices.
- Maintain water heaters, tanks, sinks, showers, sprinkler systems, and complex plumbing installations.
- Carry out soldering, brazing, leak detection, and system testing.
- Complete all job reports accurately using a PDA.
- Participate on an on-call rota (Approx. 1 in 9/10).
Essential
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing.
- Proven background working as a plumber within commercial or FM environments.
- Strong reactive and PPM maintenance capability as a mobile plumber.
- Good fault-finding skills and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
Security
- BPSS clearance (or ability to obtain).
