Electrical Supervisor in Northampton

Electrical Supervisor £55,000 + Healthcare + AP Allowance We're hiring for an Electrical Supervisor to join the engineering team at a flagship corporate campus in Northampton, supporting a large and commercial environment. The Electrical Supervisor will lead both the day and shift engineering teams, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to a high standard while maintaining compliance across the site. This is a hands-off supervisory role with a strong focus on team leadership, contractor management and safe systems of work. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join a major FM contract that has seen significant investment and offers genuine long-term career progression. Responsibilities for the Electrical Supervisor: * Leading a team of day and shift engineers across the site * Ensuring PPMs and reactive maintenance are completed efficiently * Managing subcontractors and specialist service providers * Overseeing safe systems of work and permit procedures * Carrying out audits, toolbox talks and compliance checks * Supporting project works and site improvements * Maintaining engineering documentation and reporting Requirements For the Electrical Supervisor * Experience working as a Shift Leader, Engineering Supervisor or Building Services Supervisor * Strong leadership experience within a building services environment * Previous Authorised Person (AP) experience is highly desirable * Electrical bias preferred, although mechanical backgrounds will be considered * Experience managing contractors and specialist works * Electrical or Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent) What's On Offer: * Salary of £55,000 * Healthcare package * Additional £2,500 salary uplift following AP appointment * Working on a flagship corporate campus with significant investment * Managing a well-established engineering team * Excellent progression & Training opportunities within a major FM contract
