Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 21:00 (Hours after 17:30 paid at x1.5)
The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Fixed Wire Tester / Fixed Wire Test Electrician to join our specialist electrical team working across multiple sites within the Yorkshire region. This is a mobile role offering excellent overtime opportunities and the chance to work within a supportive and experienced team.
The successful candidate will carry out Electrical Inspection & Testing (EICR) and remedial works, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Fixed Wire Testing and EICRs across commercial environments
- Undertake electrical inspection, testing and remedial works
- Ensure all work complies with BS7671: 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Create remedial work reports and documentation
- Maintain accurate certification and job records
- Work independently while liaising with the wider team
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
- Provide a professional service to clients and maintain strong customer relationships
- Maintain personal and company vehicle records

Requirements (Essential)
- Experience in Fixed Wire Testing within a commercial environment
- City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and on own initiative
