Maintenance Plumber – Water Treatment & Compliance
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join a commercial facilities management team, with a strong focus on water treatment, water hygiene and statutory compliance alongside general plumbing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and reactive plumbing maintenance across commercial properties.
- Undertake Legionella control tasks, including temperature monitoring, flushing and shower head cleaning/descaling.
- Maintain hot and cold-water systems, TMVs, pumps, valves and associated plant.
- Ensure compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274 and relevant health and safety procedures.
- Complete accurate maintenance records, identify compliance issues and support audits.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent.
- Commercial building services or FM maintenance experience.
- Legionella / L8 training and practical water hygiene experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SC clearance preferred, with willingness to obtain if required.
