Our client, a leading Facilities Management provider, is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to oversee engineering operations across site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Lead Engineer or an Engineering Supervisor to take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance, lead engineering teams, and ensure full statutory compliance across a varied portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support engineering team and subcontractors
  • Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
  • Ensure full statutory compliance and adherence to Safe Systems of Work
  • Monitor KPIs, service levels and engineering performance
  • Manage CAFM systems (Maximo desirable) for work order control
  • Plan and schedule maintenance to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption
  • Oversee contractor management, permits to work and quotations
  • Maintain SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, asset registers and O&M documentation
  • Produce compliance and performance reports
  • Support mobilisation of new sites and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure strong Health & Safety standards across all operations

About You

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Experience in Facilities Management or Building Services
  • Strong knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance
  • Experience managing subcontractors and engineering teams
  • Understanding of Permit to Work and Safe Systems of Work
  • Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

  • IOSH or NEBOSH
  • HV/LV Authorised Person experience
  • Experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM)
