This SAS (Specialty and Associate Specialist) doctor position offers an excellent balance of inpatient care, outpatient clinic reviews, and multidisciplinary teamwork under the guidance of Consultant Psychiatrists, offering a supportive environment for professional development and clinical advancement. Core Clinical Responsibilities: * Conduct routine and urgent psychiatric clinical evaluations, mental state examinations, and risk assessments for adult service users. * Provide daily medical care to inpatients or community clients, including physical health monitoring and routine medication reviews. * Formulate and adjust psychotropic medication regimes under the supervision of the lead Consultant Psychiatrist. * Prepare detailed clinical reports for Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings, tribunals, and multi-agency care reviews. * Participate in routine medical handovers, multidisciplinary team meetings, and departmental clinical audits. * Deliver empathetic, patient-centered care while working closely with families, carers, and community nursing teams.
