As a Medical Ultrasound Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high‑quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient safety and clinical accuracy across a diverse caseload.
Clinical Skill Set & Requirements- Obstetric Ultrasound: Conducting routine screening, anomaly scans, and growth monitoring.
- Non‑Obstetric Ultrasound: Performing General Abdominal, Gynaecological, and Small Parts imaging.
- Reporting: Providing clear, concise, and accurate diagnostic reports independently.
- Equipment: Proficiency with modern diagnostic medical sonography equipment.
- HCPC Registration: Must be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Specialist Qualification: CASE‑accredited Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip) or Certificate in Medical Ultrasound.
- Experience: Proven experience working at Band 7 level within the NHS or private UK healthcare sector.
- Compliance: Valid Right to Work in the UK, enhanced DBS on the update service, and up‑to‑date mandatory training.
