Evolve are partnering with an innovative and fast-growing ophthalmology company to recruit a Key Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist healthcare business with a strong presence in the market, where you will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strategic NHS partnerships, and delivering impactful customer engagement across both primary and secondary care settings. This is a full-time, permanent position covering Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with the ideal candidate based in either Southampton or Portsmouth.

Ideal Requirements for the Key Account Manager

  • ABPI qualified with a strong background in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales, ideally gained within specialist or hospital-led therapy areas.
  • A proven track record of delivering commercial success within the NHS, with the confidence to manage complex stakeholder networks and influence decision-making across primary and secondary care.
  • Strong understanding of NHS structures, commissioning pathways, and formulary processes, combined with the ability to use data, insights, and analytics to identify opportunities and drive growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders while working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable, with experience managing a large geographical territory and using digital engagement tools to deliver impactful customer interactions.
