Evolve are exclusively partnering with a market-leading Ophthalmology organisation who are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for increasing market awareness of all their clients' products and driving new opportunities and sales. This is a field-based role generating sales through new business and account management based in the south-central area of the UK.

Ideal Requirements for a Business Development Manager:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a pharmaceutical or medical device representative, ideally specialising in the optic market.
  • Will also consider candidates with an FMCG background.
  • Must be able to understand sales data - skills to interpret sales trends, handle collection, collation and use of data to assist in account and territory analysis and planning.

Role Responsibilities for a Business Development Manager:

  • Effectively position our clients' product portfolio for the customers from both a clinical and commercial perspective.
  • To be responsible for the delivery of pre-set objectives on sales, activity and other metrics to grow sales in the optical market.
