Evolve are partnering with an independent pharmacy chain who are seeking a Pharmacist to join their team at their store in Gloucester (GL1). Working with around 23,000 items per month and a large team, you’ll be responsible for delivering a range of high-quality pharmacy services, including private and pharmacy 1st services. This is a full or part-time opportunity offering flexible working hours between Monday and Friday (9am–6pm), with Saturday hours from 9am–1pm. The role offers between 18–40 hours per week, with the ideal working pattern being four weekdays plus Saturday.

Role Responsibilities for the Pharmacist

  • Ensure full compliance with GPhC and NHS standards, maintaining the highest levels of professional, ethical, and legal practice.
  • Take accountability for patient safety, including accurate dispensing, controlled drugs management, and error prevention.
  • Supervise the safe preparation and supply of medicines, ensuring prescriptions are clinically appropriate and correctly dispensed.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of all NHS and commissioned services, ensuring quality, compliance, and continuity of care.
