Our client, a well-established reputable business, is seeking an experienced and fully qualified Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. The role partners with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and Senior Stakeholders to ensure robust financial control. You will have key commercial responsibilities within the business including assisting with preparation of budgets, forecasting and financial analysis. A challenging and varied role, reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be required to have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to work effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet and variance analysis.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare, post and review monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and deferred income.
- Manage the Fixed Asset Register.
