We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CNC Process Engineer (Setter-Programmer) to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, programming, and optimizing CNC machines to ensure precise and efficient production processes. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in machining operations, ensuring high-quality outputs while maintaining safety and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Providing programming, operating & setting support
  • Programming and setting CNC machines with FANUC and MAZAK control systems
  • Supporting the wider team with technical input on new and existing work
  • Able to read and work to Engineering drawings
  • Identifying and reporting on all quality defects and any equipment failures
  • Supporting day to day production activities
  • Developing and refining machining programs
  • Applying industrial/production engineering values to method, tooling and process improvement

Skills:

  • A solid CNC machining background
  • Proven programming experience on Fanuc and Mazatronic controls
  • Strong setting knowledge across a variety of CNC equipment
  • Working to detail and making improvements
  • Working with a variety of materials (aluminium components)
  • A background in industrial engineering/production engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
