We are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Technical Manager will be responsible for maintaining processes, supporting the quality department and supporting projects to aid improvements. In this role you will be responsible for Lab/Melting and Process technicians. As the Technical Manager you will be required too : * Carry out root cause analysis investigations implementing corrective and preventive actions * Maintaining processes and owning the Technical programme * Ensuring that testing processes and methods meet customer requirements * Liaising with customers and sub contract processors * Work to reduce cost of manufacturing and eliminating reworking * Manage and maintain calibration checks for process control tools * Evaluate customer feedback and implement any actions to address quality concerns * Minimise internal and external scrap * Identify and reduce root causes of downtime on equipment * Establish and Maintain testing protocols for new and existing products Requirements: * Previous experience as a Technical Manager in a Manufacturing environment * Experience of implementing best practice solutions for process control tools * Experience of maintaining technical programmes * Experience of Liaising with suppliers * Experience in a manufacturing/foundry environment would be an advantage If you would be interested in the position of Technical Manager please apply now and we will be in touch shortly
